Keeping Parents Informed

Students are supported in order to achieve the highest possible standard. Ongoing follow up ensures no student is left behind. However, in special cases, students who neglect their responsibilities will require additional support from home. When there is a need, parents are called in to the school to discuss their child’s academic progress. Alternatively, parents who want to find out about their children can call the school for an appointment.

ISC-Muscat also facilitates strong school-parent relations through the SABIS^® Web School, an Internet portal which features a specialized Web Parent site allowing parents to access essential details about their child’s school life. Parents can view the complete picture of their child’s performance – academics, behavior, Student Life participation, attendance – on Web Parent at their own convenience. It also provides families with school news, events and calendars. Parents who enroll in this optional service receive a confidential user name and password.
