History & Achievements
The International School of Choueifat-Muscat opened its doors in September of 2001 with 98 students. In September of 2007, the school moved to a purpose-built campus set on a spacious campus conveniently located close to Al Seeb International Airport. Like other schools in the SABIS® School Network, the International School of Choueifat-Muscat is a multinational, non-selective, co-educational, independent, English medium day school serving both the local and international communities and catering for students from the age of 3+ years to 18+ (KG to Grade 12). Currently, the student population at ISC-Muscat stands at over 1650 with over 51 nationalities represented. The diverse student body provides multi-cultural exposure to complement the high level of education offered.
Since they began operating in the region, the International Schools of Choueifat have graduated hundreds of students, who have gone on to join top universities in the world. In the UK, these universities include Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Bristol, Edinburgh, Bath, Birmingham, Liverpool, The Imperial College of Science and Technology and all other Colleges of London University. In the US, they include Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, U-Penn, and many other prominent universities; in Canada, McGill, British Columbia, McMaster, Concordia, etc.; and in other countries, such as Japan, Germany, France, Belgium, Australia, etc. These students have graduated as engineers, medical doctors, economists, computer scientists, etc. and are currently very successful in their careers. Letters of acceptance from top universities are displayed in the administration lobby of the school.
