Administrators
and students are very close. This closeness creates a strong bond
and trust between them. Students open up their minds and hearts
and express their worries to senior administrators and to other
students, who in turn assure and support them. Every student in
the school has the support of the extended family of the Student
Life Organization and the senior staff.
Each of our schools has students from many different countries.
This cultural diversity affords students the opportunity of a
better understanding of human nature and helps students to develop
an open mind. It shows students that the way they are used to
do things is not necessarily "correct" and that there
are different ways of looking at things, whether these are habits,
food, clothes or values.
It is customary in our schools to have culture days in which students
of different nationalities bring into focus various aspect of
their culture. In our shrinking world, people who develop an understanding
of other cultures are more likely to be successful and happy than
people who limit their experience to their own parochial society
and habits.
